twist: "Brollan is Sweden's next big thing, he just needs some time"

During the first day of the WESG 2017 World Finals, we managed to have a short talk with Simon "twist" Eliasson to hear how GODSENT is faring at the moment.
The Swedish team topped their first group in Haikou, defeating BOOT-d[S], Swole Patrol and AGO on today, adding onto their recent success of qualifying for ECS Season 5.
After the first two matches, we spoke with Simon "twist" Eliasson about GODSENT, their recent roster changes that involved bringing in Hampus "hampus" Poser and Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin, and how it reflects on them as a team.
The last big event you played was the European qualifier for WESG, where you finished second. After that, what happened with you as a team? The Major was going on and obviously, you weren't a part of that, so how did you spend that time?
We spent a lot of time practicing, and then finally after the win in the ECS qualifier we felt relief, because we have been struggling in online matches and we weren't able to qualify to LAN events. We did pretty well in Barcelona for WESG, but we haven't attended many events in the meantime, and these online games are always hard nowadays. But it was a relief to qualify for ECS.
After WESG you signed hampus and added Brollan. Can you tell me a bit about those changes and how they feel right now, you've obviously been playing for them for a while?
hampus really impressed us in Barcelona, we always needed an in-game leader, that's a thing we lacked in the last team with dennis and znajder, no one wanted to IGL. And Brollan is a youngster, he is a raw talent and Sweden's next big thing, in my opinion. He just needs some time, he is just 15-years-old and he's not used to these kinds of events, he is a bit nervous and such things, but it will go away.
What is hampus' style as an in-game leader, how is the team envisioned, what's the style like?
It's a bit mixed, there is a lot of aggressive moves, to be honest, but we also help him with some ideas to add to the game. He is good at micromanaging people, taking control of the situation, telling everyone what to do. That's his strong side.
At the beginning of the year, a report came out that claimed that GODSENT was going to sell the team. Has something like that added a bit of pressure for you to achieve big results, such as qualify for ECS?
Not really to be honest. I'm always going to play the best I can, so it didn't really add any pressure on me at least.
In the Swedish scene at the moment we saw fnatic having success at Katowice, dennis ending up in NiP, some of your former teammates are in both of the teams now. So what do you think about the Swedish scene at the moment?
I think it's getting better, I think NiP has improved and fnatic as well, I think it's only a matter of time before Sweden gets back on top.
